Last week I started the "365 day photography challenge".  I have challenged myself to pick up my camera every day and practice.  I want to try new compositions, improve my skills, and best of all capture my favorite little subject grow.  I am trying my best to always use my Nikon, but I know here and there I will use my iphone to capture a pic.

Yesterday we snuck onto the Old McDonald's Farm to capture a few pictures of Hazel in her Halloween costume.  Our plan this year was for her to be a ghost, but Hazel refuses to keep the costume on.  So we raided Hazel's closet and decided she would be a CowGirl instead.  Hazel enjoys her CowGirl costume much more and had a blast riding her horse in Old McDonald's Farm.

We feel so lucky to have such great friends here in Madison.  This past weekend we spent the day with everyone at Treinen Farm.  We picked pumpkins, played in the sand, went down the slide, saw a variety of animals and enjoyed a horse drawn hayride.  It was a great day!
