little gymies.

Today was Hazel's last day at little gymies for the summer.  She met a new friend and they held hands through most of class.  It was priceless!

a great week.

We were very spoiled last week when Nana, Papa, and Auntie Cheef came to visit! Hazel was able to skip daycare the entire week and stay home and play.  It was such a treat and came at such a good time because Hazel was still not feeling a 100%.  Today she was feeling much, much better and the transition back to daycare was much easier than anticipated!  Thanks again to Nana, Papa, and Auntie Cheef!

ny in july.

We just spent a week in NY and had a great time visiting with family and friends.  Grandpa had a great list of things to do with Hazel and we managed to do almost all of it!  The week just flew by way to fast!

first painting.

It has been really HOT this week, so we have been hanging indoors quite a bit.  To spice things up, we did some painting yesterday!  I was very excited to see how well Hazel did.  She hasn't really gotten into crayons just yet, so I was surprised at how much she loved using a paintbrush.  Hazel was so into it, she got upset each time we had to pause to dip the brush into more paint.  We had so much fun and now we have new artwork hanging in our kitchen!
